Just because I use windows doesn't make me a nerd. In My opinion, I think Windows is better than mac; That doesn't mean it is, but I prefer to use a Windows Computer rather than a Mac. I also have a Mac, but I use my windows 7 :)

so... my 400$(rounding up) laptop has same specs as a ~2000$ macbook pro and i can do pretty much all the same? yeah its cheaper and i have had my share of errors (never any viruses phew) and games run pretty well. Meanwhile my Girlfriend has a macbookpro and i can hardly ever use it since im too adapt at using my lenovos shortcuts and googlechromes fast and steady steaming. i guess safari is just too vanilla for me.

@Ekphrasy Hi there, what I mean by that is that the apple store guy told me mac currently do not support Blu-ray playback and much less 3D at all. I did not said you couldn't use a BR- player or Writer.

Why can't everyone be happy instead of fighting over which product is better, Apple and Microsoft have something in common, they have both changed the world with their products. It doesn't matter if one doesn't have what the other has..

Even old Win98 could still be used with 13 year-old PC on a daily basis for usual daily tasks (internet (Opera), games (of it's time, + NES & SMS & Genesis emulation), music, pics, even video (though not just any but still), programming)...

...while iMac G3 (with 'superior' 333MHz PowerPC &  256Mb RAM) of same age can hardly run GameGear emulator w/o sound... And doesn't have any recent browser, and iTunes is just pain in the ass to use compared to Media Player Classic... lol

@cjsk8r75 well you just proved a point whats the difference except price well i can get a pc 10x more powerful than a mac for the same price why would i not? The top mac pro for 5000$ uses an ati 5770 thats not even a high end graphics card.... But why would you need it when mac can barely play any games. Mac users think macs are simply faster but they dont realize its because their os is dubbed down so much that it takes less to run it. People seem to think macs magically are faster. not true

And if you can't handle the skewed truths used to make these ads funny (remember the're ADVERTISEMENTS that are MADE by mac) then how can you stand watching/reading any sort of news where they pass off the skewed angles as truth?

@Protomasterexe there are antivirus programs for mac, so thats no problem for me. my macbook is actually running faster than any other computer i have used. however i have only used Windows 7for about 3 hours in my life, on a brand new computer. ive put my macbook through hell and back, erased the hard drive for speed purposes, and partitioned, an backed up my primary drive and opens, closes, and runs programs faster than W7. (Intel-based, 2Ghz, 200GB)

@cjsk8r75 Well, if used correctly windows 7 will never crash on you. I have used several macs that have crashed. I will admit pc has more viruses, but antivirus software means that viruses aren't that much of a threat to either macs or pcs.
