I only like covers when they completely reinterpret the original. If it sounds the same, why bother? I'd just listen to the original. Doing exactly what's been done doesn't take any special dose of innovation or creativity.

...I'm sorry, but I cannot get into this. It doesn't sound at all like the original song - notes are changed, style is completely different...how can people like this? Sure, it's pretty and all, but...honestly? It's an insult to the original piece. This musical is about R&B, not about country folk songs. Dislike.
