I just got back a week ago from here. It was very nice, but there are a lot of downfalls. It did not feel like we were actually in Hawaii because of the man-made beaches in the area without waves, it's far away from a lot of the tourist attractions in hawaii so you need to rent a car or pay for a shuttle, and there are not to many options in terms of food because they only have two restaurants, a cafe and bar. The bar had good food, but it gets boring eating burgers all the time, the cafe has

got home yesterday here from a 7 day stay and i would rather go here for a week then disney in orlando any day. I snorkled with so many fish in the salt water tank in the pool area and even more in the ocean along with a shark and a few sea turtles. this place is awsome and there are characters so there is still disney here

I guess it's ok. I'm happy there's no tacky, BRIGHT red aloha shirts that tourist wear and HUGE plastic palm trees. It's good. I like how they tried to stick to the REAL HAWAII feel not the Lilo and Stitch kind wear everyone wears aloha print and lives in wooden/grass houses....

looks stupid.
i live in hawaii... and we shouldn't even have enough money to build all this...
disneyland/world is all about the rides! (in my opinion)
not pools & spas -.-

@jomom i completely agree with this the hotels around Ko Olina have 300-400 rooms each hotel Disney has like a million which belongs in Las Vegas not a Hawaiian island

I live in Hawai'i. My friends call me Disney obsessed, and I admit I am. I only go to Disneyland once every year or two. Seeing this, made me the happiest person. LOL

I cant wait to actually stay there.Every weekend were at that lagoon swimming. I wonder when are they going to post jobs,i would love to work there too!! So good to live in Hawaii.I can see it being busy, just please make more parking for the locals lol.!!! Bad enough to find parking to swim there.

I can see the building structure from my house...I hope I can find a job there. It would be a neat experience.
They need to inject some Lilo and Stitch flavor into this, then I'll be more psyched about going there. I like to get absorbed in Disney when I go to a "Disney" place. Anyway, at least now I'm more interested in visiting Hawaii someday.

Too big. Cattle call anyone? They need to spend less, think smaller, then they wouldn't have to make it necessary to cram so many people at a time, and could still make a nice enough profit. I love Disney, but a GIANT mega hotel is not "the spirit of Hawaii" Vegas maybe.
