  • @TheGangstagnome Yeah, I guess the band just didn't market their music as much or something, I can't think of any other reason the band would be so unknown.

  • @ixsetf Yeah, you're right... Maybe it just wasn't a big deal or something. I mean, it's not like there's a sticker on case that says "Featuring Messiah Marcolin!" or anything... I don't know, it's weird. The whole "Satariel isn't more well-known" thing is weird, IMO.

  • @TheGangstagnome Yeah well getting him on the vocal part isn't the weird part for me, but the fact that hardcore fans of Candlemass aren't all buying this album for Messiah's vocals. I thought there would be some recognition from that at least...

  • @ixsetf Heh, yeah. I've been trying to figure out why this band isn't more well-known for a while. Anyway, I think Satariel and Candlemass were label-mates around this time, so it wasn't a big thing to get Marcolin to come do some vocals. I could be wrong on that, though, so don't quote me or anything.

  • @TheGangstagnome Yeah, well I didn't realize it was actually him until after I posted the comment, but yeah seems kinda obvious. What is really surprising is how obscure this album is with someone as famous as Messiah Marcolin making a guest appearance, not to mention how awesome the music is.

  • @xervis2 Oh, hell yeah, dude! But, hey, the fact that previews are even out tells me that there's hope. =D

  • @ixsetf Well, considering the fact that Messiah Marcolin provided the vocals for the clean segments, that's not surprising. =P

  • The cleans remind me of Candlemass here, like a lot like Candlemass, which is awesome.

  • @TheGangstagnome yeah i ve listened to the riff of the second preview over and over...white album's gonna be THE SHIT,if it ever comes out xD

  • @xervis2 Fucking late reply, but they've got some teasers for the new record out now. Still no word on a release date or anything, but, hey, at least it's something!
