...i love the sound of this record, as most of 70's records...i just cant stand the monotonic 80's snare drum!!!

london calling was released in 79 but didnt get released here in amaerica till jan of 1980, so rolling stone in there infinte wisdom decided to call it THE album of the 80s

In the same category as abbey road, quadrophenia, ziggy stardust etc. as one of the greatest rock albums ever made. Absolutely superb.
