@SkunkHunt black holes exist in the centre of almost every galaxy. The one at centre of the milky way, for example, is very well characterized.

@SkunkHunt THe singularity is just an effect of the fact that general relativity is not a complete theory. Quantum gravity would possibly be the solution. And, indeed, black holes are nowadays proven to exist.

I was hoping that you would back this statment up with information that I can go verify on my own. I have seen a atar survey that shows the motion of dozens of stars near the center of the Milkyway and according to that data and Newton's laws of motion, there is a 40+ million solar mass object in an area about the size of our solar system. How do you explain this?

This would be consistent with classical thinking of what a black hole might be, however, no one has ever proven there is such a thing as a singularity or a zero-dimensional infinitely small point...however, I am not dismissing the possibility that they exist, I'm dismissing the concept of a black hole, which in turn, makes the singularity and small point almost negligible of a concern

Technically it doesn't have enough wait to become what pseudo scientists claim are black holes. However, since no blackhole has ever been discovered we really don't have to worry about them coming to existence anywhere and anytime.

I'm not telling you there's anything there. There's a bunch of stuff there and its hot, but there is no warping of spacetime and there is no black hole. If there was it would be so evident and there would be very strange effects, stranger than what is commonly depicted in artist renditions. I make this claim because I have described better than anyone how strange those affects are if they were real. But they are not real and that is why we have not witnessed any of them.
