the 2 decks put after 1990 were horrible!!

It's all bad news now. The tip of the bow has been cut and leaning forward. The ropes have been moved. Eight newly cut holes can now be seen along the waterline portside, there are another eight starboard, making sixteen holes cut into her hull. In addition all lifeboats have been taken ashore. This procedure is customary prior dismantling commences. Although she would need to be towed closer to the shore, which has not occurred to date!

I love this ship. France was a beautiful Liner. She was France's Ship of Dreams. I will never forget this. DEATH TO ALL SCRAP MERCHANTS! May God damn them all to HELL!

Bad luck to rename a ship. Its sad that such iconic pieces of mans ability to create must expire.

I was 6 years old when she came to Oslo to be christened as ss Norway,and we waited hours to get onboard,and i still remember the enourmest size of her,and she was without the upperdecks then

I was so lucky to sail on this beautiful ship years ago. I never realized that I was sailing on a one of a kind ship. No other like it. To make you understand how big she was, she had two tender boats that held 400 passengers each to take you to the private island. They both were huge. It's so sad to see her stripped to nothing now....Wish she could have been saved......

I know how you feel, I was a crew member on that ship and I was very hurt when she left us.
