Microsoft Lifecam Cinema Review

Here is a review of the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema, Definitely a decent webcam, this shoots in 1280 by 720p which is the main feature of this camera. This is actually able to shoot at 30 fps if you have a good system with at least a duo core system. This camera is good for users who want to do video chatting in 720p, I wouldn't 100% recommend it for doing reviews however the price of this camera is relatively cheap at $60 in Sam's Club or even cheaper online. If you can afford a more expensive web cam than you should do that for recording. The only main issue I have run into is that the audio quality of the microphone is not great and there was a high pitch noise along with the audio. These issues have been fixed and its still worth getting if you can afford this device. I would also like to say that the lighting is very well in depth compared to the built in isight camera in my Macbook Pro
I would personally wait until Microsoft releases there new 720p web cams that are supposedly better, I will be purchasing one of those and doing a review on that as well.

forgot to mention the audio doesn't work anymore after the first 5 seconds or so of recording no matter what resolution i use

Turn off the auto focus feature, like you see in this video, its very distracting. I have this camera. Simply go to properties, under camera control tab, uncheck the box, click apply. High pitch noise only goes away by using a different microphone. If there is another way to fix this, let me know. I don't feel comfortable making videos until I fix this issue. Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 has great sound, poor video compared to MS lifecam and vice versa the opposite is true about MS lifecam.

i need your help man, i got this camera but it sucks on my computer i honestly dont know shit about computers and you seem like a computer...fan boy,anyways im trying to see if i can update my Presario f700 compaq windows vista ..my processor : AMD Athlon(tm) 64x2 dual core processor 1.80 ghz,Memory Ram:958 Mb and a 32-bit operating system. what can i do to make it better ? please help ASAP thanks
