This video shows off the Juno-G's workstation capabilities: Audio Input, Vocal FX processing for live work along with a sequence that I am playing.

Don't forget you can record the instrument tracks to a MIDI sequencer (16 tracks) and record audio to one of 4-Audio tracks (preferably with cheap, optional 512 MB memory expansion).

I didn't record Audio directly into computer sound card while playing live: the sound you hear is recorded via camcorder's mini microphone. My room is not acoustically treated for reverb. Yet you can still hear the amazing depth of the sound. This is a testament to Roland's rich and warm sound quality.

Just to clarify the lyrics: This lyrics was thought of as I played! And it was inspired by my wife and newborn who stayed at her parents place for the extra care, since I was busy with work. I sang this song to lament of their absence in my house!

This song also reminds me of my wonderful mom who raised me without a scratch since I was born, and my sister, Nikita, who reminds me of Hannah, as I had watched Niki grow the same way Hannah has.

LYRICS:

Caught in a daze
As I walk down the maze
I'm caught in a crossfire....
Tonight I wish I was right
Will you join me in my fight

I wish you were here
I would like to get you near

I want to be called
Everytime I'm feeling lonely...

I'm...I'm stranded...alone
By myself.........
When are you coming home?

As you can see, you will make my day

  • Hello there talented musician. The microphone there is it connected directly to the juno g and the reverb effect is it also built-in itself like the new portable Roland Junu Gi? The microphone input functions can you add a robot voice for example or other type of vocal effects to it, i'm really courious about this model.

  • The microphone is connected directly to the juno g and the reverb effect is a system effect in the juno-g.

You can add the various insert effects, reverb and chorus (both are system effects) to the vocals....or you could record the vocals dry using the voice recorder and then add the effects.

This doesn't have a vocoder as far as i know...I sold the unit, but I miss Roland sounds so I will be buying the Fantom-G or Juno-Di when time/money permits.

  • Great job! Did you get the sonar software with the Juno. If so , how is it?

  • I didn't have to even use the Sonar LE software, as the Juno-G's onboard linear sequencer is pretty complete with piano roll screen and great editing features!

  • Thanks for your comments! I never had lessons except for a few chords and scales..I learnt to play by ear mostly
