Really informative video, well presented. Thanks very much. I'm in England and just starting out making rustic furniture. I have some hazel that is 4-5" diameter, I quartered some through the pith and roughed it round on my newly made shaving horse. Is there a problem with the wood splitting/checking on the end if it is left in the round? Once again thanks for the video.
Dude I just got a job working for a warehouse that sells rustic furniture and this video is crazy instructive. You've inspired me to design everything from log cabin forts to chairs with materials in the forest. Thanks a million.
