Nice - there's a bass player, but they got an extra one, and there's a drummer but they got an extra one, and there's two guitarists, but they got Adrian Belew? Maybe Adrian should have just sung it too, and then the actual Talking Heads wouldn't have even had to show up.
the roland jc-120 was the amp of choice for musicians in the 80's. those that had them knew how to use them. i bought one in 1985 and still love it. everyone has their own sound, but to say it is lifeless, toneless, please... belew makes it scream.
but to me...one their own without a bunch of pedals in front of them...they are lifeless and brittle. if you would like to put one next to my 1967 AC30 we can do a comparison test and you can see what I'm talking about
