  • I have a Gunn Crest pendant in silver, passed down from my grandfather and his grandfather, etc. The hallmarks go back to the early 1800's - so it's relatively young, but it makes me proud to be descended from this warrior clan. Willis was the name.

  • @Manyfeathers22 Thanks for the comment. I'm proud I just traced my Wilson family back to Scotland in Fife and Orkney.

  • Hey! Im a Gunn too!

  • @musclerocker Have you joined the Clan Gunn Society? Do you go to Scottish festivals?

  • @musclerocker Have you joined Clan Gunn Society of North America? Do you know the Gunns were Vikings?

  • Do you mean it had "Clan Gunn" beneath the crest? That's optional. The crest on my hat doesn't have it. The one I pin a shire does. My ancestors are Wilsons too. Aut Pax Aut Bellum means "Either Peace or War".
