Sonic Generations - Chemical Plant Zone - Act 2 (Modern - S-Rank/No Hit/Skill)

Now time for the Modern version of Chemical Plant Zone. They did a good job on this one IMO, although as far as the song goes I prefer the Classic version, this ones a tad too slow for me.

There's a part near the end with a high up railing. It's rather difficult to hit, and I'm not sure if it helps much if at all, so I didn't bother with it. It's dangerous to Boost to it, because you might overshoot it and die.

Must S-Rank

*S-Rank*

Take the top path all the time to make this as easy as possible. Some of the paths on the top are tricky to figure out, but a couple practice runs will help.

*Trophies*

Walk on Water: Beat the Act without touching the water.

The Walk on Water trophy isn't hard to get if you know the correct path. But you'll have to be on the top path the entire time or else you're forced to enter water at some point. The end part you have to do pretty fast or else the water will rise up to you. Entering that part is tricky too, you have to attack.

*Tips*

The drifting move is almost useless, except in small exceptions like this stage where you need it to get to the alternate path at the beginning. The other option is to just go slow, but that sort of defeats the purpose of...Sonic.

S-Rank tip: Using "Start Over" causes you to lose a life, but still allows you to get S-Rank. Use this if you mess up. You can't use Start Over if you're on your last life. Furtheremore, for some reason, if you use Continue after losing all lives, you can't S-Rank the Act. The way to fix this is to just choose Start Over after the Continue, then you can S-Rank it.
