In my opinion,I thought that the first three movies were pretty good.Critics said that At World's End was too convuluted and hard to understand the story,but I thought that the conclusion to the story was pretty good.Dead Man's Chest and The Curse Of The Black Pearl were great.On Stranger Tides,hmm...was actually a disappointment for me.I wasn't comfortable with the new plot and setting,as it was too simple,so yeah.The film was filled with boring chases,same music,and the new music wasn't good.

@josip99 Because not everybody has the same opinion as you. I didn't think it was as good as the first three, but I liked it. I didn't think it sucked at all.

I liked the movie because of Johnny Depp. But found he seemed to step into his scenes without engulfing the "complete Jack Sparrow character". I had just seen The Tourist and thought that his "Frank" character was showing a bit. He also slurred his words more in this version than the previous 3. I know he doesn't watch his own movies, but maybe a little clip of POC, when he is playing the same character - would help. I love him anyway. I just don't want his movies to stop.

I think it was decent. This new director is taking in a direction that is less mainstream and that annoyed people I think. Like Jack DIDN'T get the girl and he didn't really benefit much from the adventure, Barbosa on the other hand who has always been Jack's rival benefited greatly. It's just different stuff that we don't normally see in movies and despite it's shortcomings makes it interesting,

I think all 4 POTC movies are excellent and amazing. Really, all of them are just amazing to me. I loved the first 3 Movies, and I don't think the POTC 2 and 3 were confusing, only some parts of 3 were. I love that POTC 4 kept true to the Pirate's movies and just kept a more simple storyline. Either way, I give all 4 POTC movies 10/10. Really, I don't see how you can't like them.
