Bee World, flowers & their pollinators - up-close and personal

Bees bounce from flower to flower, gathering nectar and pollen for the hive. Pollen is essential as a source of protein. Without it, colonies would be unable to produce new bees. Nectar is the carbohydrate portion of the bee's food, and is the raw material for honey.

@LetArtsLive I put my camera on the ground and pushed it slowly through the dirt. I put a plastic bag on the bottom of the camera. However, sand still got on the lens.... which I quickly brushed off.
