Although, I'm excited about the Blood Omnicide, that's going to
be totally awesome. But this project is simply a backup to give fans as
much to play as they can sink their teeth into.

Dude this is amazing :) wish I could make games like you do cause I've got so many ideas for a legacy of kain fan game to follow on from defiance but I don't have a clue where to start making something like this

Thanks dude! I recommend 3dgamestudio and Torque for game development if you're interested in the field.

A lot of times people don't know where to begin. I didn't know anything and I'm still learning new things.

There are other engines too, but Torque and 3dgamestudio are the easiest to learn and have strong communities.

I'll be releasing a tutorial from front to back on how to make a melee platform action adventure game. I'll keep you posted on it.

I have to admit that you certainly know this series inside out and as such are worthy of creating a good fan based game. I too would love to have this kind of skill as I adore this series and also have some excellent basic ideas - would love to see Vorador as a playable character with his own game - could easily be fit into the series.

@Mkilbride2599 So far I've only looked at one or two demo videos on youtube sadly, but it sounds like that doesn't really show everything they've put into it. Hey, do you have a link to the blood omnicide website and for Pawloski's version. I like the original enough that I'll probably end up playing both of them. xD

Well Blood Omnicide is using high quality assets...it can also do first person, with option of third person...have you LOOKED at the latest stuff? It looks insane. I mean, everything about it...

Check their Moddb page. Demos & screenshots...it's just wow, I can't beleive, the work they are putting into it is more than 95% of retail games today.

@Mkilbride2599 I think maybe it's just a difference in technique that's all. Blood omnicide gives off more of an Bauldur's Gate/ Champions of Norrath type feel. The 3D remake is close camera 3D like god of war of Devil May Cry. The graphics for Omnicide are totally amazing, but I just like this one better since the overhead style view was already visited in the original version.
