It seems like the shot pplacement could have been better though. I.e. more of an arse shot than anything else. I.e. surely the meat must've been rather tough after that with all the adrenaline coarsing through its veins? I.e. yes they do look rather pompous though. Was this for xmas or thanksgiving??

@ssssanchezz: First, people hunt because states allow it in order to maintain populations of certain species during certain times of the year. Without "thinning out" the species, many more will die due to inadequate feeding and breeding areas. It actually maintains a future for the species. Second, people eat what they hunt. It is a respect for the animal that non-hunters will never understand. There is a satisfaction to providing your own meal vs. picking it up at the store.
