About the speaker:

Azfar Uddin graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Benedictine University. His degree is in Education with a minor in History. Azfar graduated from Benedictine with distinction, maintaining high honors throughout his academic career. He completed his memorization of the Quran at the age of 12. He returned to the Institute of Islamic Education to pursue his goal in becoming an Islamic scholar. Meanwhile, he also teaches Life Science to Middle School and High school students. Azfar has been awarded the Bernardine M. Lanser Memorial Scholarship for Teachers for his excellence in teaching, the Arthur J. Schmitt Foundation Future Leaders Scholarship Award and the Anthony L. LaScala Leadership Endowed Scholarship for his leadership qualities both in and out of the classroom. He also has been awarded the Rose Becker Scholarship for his academic achievement and service to the community. Known for his humor and authentic knowledge, Sheikh Azfar delivers enlightening lectures at various mosques, high schools and universities. He is a fan favorite on "Concise Advice", a lecture series which gives "concise advice" to the community in a fun and educational manner. Azfar types hadith on Sunnah.com, a database of collections of authentic hadith. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing football, basketball and Ultimate Frisbee.

    you misunderstand my statement. most of the book resource material like tafseers (translated by scholars) are for sale, but not available open source on internet. this is what im sadden about.

    How is it then you confirm that he knows about it? It's clear to me what his advice is about and it's clear for everyone who wants to learn the quran according to the conditions. But it doesn't mean you are not allowed to read the qur'an. But please don't advice people to interpret the qur'an how they wish. Even Christians have scholars to understand the bible, and as is every field of science, .. So what is your point? Do you have any arguments that proves your point?
