INGREDIENTS:
See Part 1 of 2
This recipe will make 8 Samosas.
FOR CRUST
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tablespoon sooji
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoons+ 1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup -1tablespoon look warm water
FOR FILLING
3 red large potatoes
1/2 cup green peas
2 chopped green chilly seeded
1 teaspoon grated ginger
½ teaspoon cumin seed
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon garam masala (garam masala is a mixture of different spices)
1 teaspoon mango powder
2 tablespoons oil

  • Aunty.. Awesome video!! Will definately try to make it soon. However,one quick question. May i change the oil for the dough mixture with butter?? for "richer" taste? Ifn can, how much? or is it the same amount as oil? Thanks Aunty! ;-)

    Use the same amount of butter and definitely it will give better texture.

  • Wow!! I love these videos. I havent had samosa's in about 10 yrs!! My friend's mother made some for me and a couple of other friends years ago and they were delicious. Somehow, I remember a little bit of carrots in them. Is that a normal variation? Silly question. Do you oil your rolling pin?
