Actually, I think it's the words he puts in the actors mouths. Great stories, great actors, awful screenplays. The guy can't write dialouge for crap. That is why the best films had Lawrence Kasdan handling the screenplays. To quote Harrison Ford, "You can type this shit, George, but ytou sure as hell can't say it..."

Most of the dialogue was fine. It was just the romantic dialogue (awkward in Episode II, cliched in Episode III). Most of it worked, and there was actually moments of very good dialogue. Some of the exchanges between Obi-Wan and Anakin were quite good, Obi-Wan had some good one liners (Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me, Chancellor Palpatine Sith Lords are our speciality). And Palpatine had some great bits to.

It's very unfortunate that this project died awhile ago, but it's premise was great, and the trailers we got out of it were amazing.

Lucasfilm should hire you and your partner to release this through them, so you could do what you wanted.

This is a well done trailer. You used the right prequel clips with the original movie and you didn't even have to use Requiem for a Dream. I don't like that song anymore people use it to much on Youtube.
