Paul was quoted "Keith Moon was supposed to be there. But he died. So he couldn't make it." He said he knew it was a sick joke, but Keith would have loved it.

It was supposed to be Keith Moon... but he died. So they got Kenney Jones, who was the Who's new drummer at the time.

That's David Gilmour's famed Fender Esquire Telecaster that he acquired two years earlier (and DG used later with McCartney in 1999 and on his first solo album (all rhythm guitars on that album), The Wall (namely Run Like Hell), pictured on his About Face album in 1984 and his On an Island solo album in 2006 on the track "Take a Breath"). Pete Townshend's guitar was the Gretsch that Joe Walsh gave him at the beginning of 1970.

Which Townshend smashed in a rage during the 70's and had repaired. Walsh also gave a guitar to Jimmy Page too.
