How to Insert A background part 1

Sorry It's been a while...

For all you Myspace RP-ers...

This is how to insert a Background into a picture when the original Picture has 1 solid color as a Background.

I used Photoshop CS3 but this will work with an older version of Photoshop.

it wont let me make the layer on the bottom of the picture im working on...please help

I think you would need to double click the layer at the very bottom to unlock it. I think that's the problem :]
