Iran 11 Jan 2012 : Bomb kills professor linked to nuke program

An Iranian nuclear scientists was killed by a bomb in northern Tehran on Wednesday, according to Iranian state media.
Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan was killed by a magnetic bomb planted under his car by an unknown motorcyclist, the Fars news agency reported. Two other people were wounded in the blast.
Iran is the target of sanctions by Western countries led by the United States for allegedly enriching uranium with the aim of creating nuclear weapons. Tehran rejects the accusation and claims its nuclear program has strictly peaceful ends.
Roshan, 32, was a graduate of oil industry university and a deputy director of Natanz uranium enrichment facility for commercial affairs, according to Fars.
Iranian nuclear scientists have been the targets of deadly bombs attacks as international pressure mounts and Iran is accused of getting closer to creating a bomb.
Massoud Ali- Mohammadi was killed by an explosion outside his Tehran home in January 2010, and a November 2010 blast killed nuclear engineer Majid Shahriariof Majid Shahriari. A separate attack on the same day wounded Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, the current head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization.
Iran blamed Israeli and American intelligence agencies for those attacks, Iran's Press TV said on Wednesday.
