  • The K1200S is technologicaly advanced. Brakes - ABS is standard with servo assist, it pressurises the brake line instantly. The front brake operates the front and rear while the foot operates the rear - the perfect combination for control in corners. Electronic adjustable suspension. A trip computer with a distance to empty. It has enough power - 167HP. Touring comfort. The duolever front end has no fork dive. I bought a BMW because I can see old BMWs still on the road. BMW are built to last.

  • Hey nice bike. I am considering this bike to purchase. How do you like it for commuting? "And what type of bags are those? Thanks

  • I love commuting for an hour each way from Beenleigh to Brisbane City. The touring seat and sitting position is comfortable. Top gear is good for the 80 - 100kmh range with the engine humming along at about 3000-4000RPM. I get about 300km per tank. The bags are the standard issue BMW panniers that fold out to lock up the BMW helmet. I looked at a lot of bikes when I decided to get back into riding. I would compare and compromise on performance and price - I always came back to the K1200S.
