Taking place July 13-17th, the 4th annual Young Muslim Leaders Summit in Washington, DC brought a group of 20 diverse young Muslim Americans from across the country to experience the inner workings of the nation's capitol, and share your perspective on crucial policy issues with government officials and congressional leaders.
Both in meetings with officials and during informal discussions, they had the opportunity to identify barriers within their communities and develop strategies for enhancing local involvement in public service as an expression of the values they hold as Muslims.
