  • Hey Bob, thanks for your time to upload these videos. I've been trying to repair some walls with spackle before I give them a white coat and I'e learned a lot from your vids. All the best and keep up the good work :)

  • Thanks alot FRIEND lol---Bob

  • I really like the trashbag idea. Why didn't I think of that! I wonder where you get those new types of containers for paint. They look cool! I want to add that in the disposable liner, I add just another quick coat of paint and then it's think enough I can peal it off without a hassle.

  • Sherwin Williams paints sell their paint in that container.I did not know you can peal the paint from disposable liners I will have to try that Thanks ---Bob

  • Great tips! I use the plastic bag trick but only for small jobs only because the bag is too slippery for your paint roller to roll on :).

  • Keeping track of what paint you used where, when the can goes away then what? I keep in on a computer but you can do this with pen and paper too. List each room, the paint brand, type, color name/code and the formula/quantity. Quantity is important because the formula and quantity are linked together when they mix paint. List all the detailed information for the paint. The more the better. I do this for wall, trim, etc. With that, the color can always be made at the paint store.

  • Woot thankx bob :O youve been a great help :D i will be sure to do as u said and im sure it will be of help :) im getting ready to paint my room now :) thankyou BOB SCHMIDT!!!

  • Thanks Bob, You've really helped me, I don't know what I would do without this video, For all the paint would have dripped & covered the instuctions! Once again, thanks

  • I love the reuse of bags tips

  • You Could also wait to peel off your latex , paint with an oil based paint and then peel off the latex layer and get a fresh start.

  • thanks, Bob, I really mean it. I'm gearing up to paint my room and that really helped big. I learned alot and I have a better Idea of what questions to also ask. This is a great video and I will check out "homeworkshop" and if they are all as simple and as informative as this I will subscribe to HomeWorkshop.
