IMO people's outdated concept of 'explosives' is an obstacle to understanding the unique suitability of hi-tech nano metal-oxide exothermic compounds for semi-controlled destruction of WTC. They cross the categories of explosives w/ incendiaries, pyrotechnics & propellants. Monomolecular construction is key to radical increases of intensity & brissance = up to 1000 X more bang w/ smaller size, less flash & 'boom!'. Anyway, they'd likely be in sealed cores w/ minimal visibility & auditory cues.

Bloody right! Then there's the tremendous near-instantaneous heat-dissipation  accompanying sudden volumetric expansion which should have immediately diffused, reducing all remnant heat to near ambient temps. Pyroclastic clouds contained hot & burning gasses at several-hundred+ F, so dense there were many reports of survivors being knocked-down or blown away up to several hundred yards. Streaming dust-clouds so hot they baked parked cars closest to ground-zero, setting many afire by contact.

AND if it was foreign terrorists, why then was there so much coordinated effort to contrive evidence, falsify results, suborn perjury, ignore widespread official fraud & false testimony, omit crucial witnesses & exclude EVERYTHING that didn't support their initial conclusion which every 'study' was designed to prove (exact OPPOSITE of scientific methodology!), engage in most blatant falsification & outright fraudulent manipulation which inexplicably is condoned & unquestioned -- WHY contrive?

Boy, that is CLASSIC US States of Hypocrisy.
