I like these better than 4 legs. You might too. You could avoid the cutting technique described by simply ripping the angle all the way down the top board conventionally. Otherwise Hang ON!!

  • I just finished building 2. Works great! Very stable. I ripped the length of the top to avoid the climbing cut, but had to cut notches so that the 2 supports would lie flat. You could also use a standard circular saw for one cut, and a worm drive for the other (one tilts right, the other tilts left). Also, I used 2" deck screws instead of nails, which should make it even stronger. Great design!

  • Another way to make that climbing cut is with a multitool like féin or bosh I just got the jawhorse so 3 legs are the way to go very sturdy
