it's harder as you get older. had a chance when i was younger - was scared...even more scared now. i hate those who say "it's easy, just pedal"..

Don't worry I'm now 21 and I've used a bike for nearly 2500 miles of commute on the street of Boston. Guess when I learn how to ride?
Only 3 years ago when I was 18!
It is NEVER too late to learn how to ride! =D

@ForgottenSoul700 I totally agree with you!! SOOO EASY YET SOOO HARD. What a way to describe it!!!!

This is by far the worst way to teach how to ride a bike.
The only thing you achieved is to discourage even more to the new rider.
First let him just to paddle walk in order to learn about the balance, pedaling comes after. (and grabbing him is a mistake too)

It's so easy yet so hard!

Woot =D
Don't pedal yet.
Slide and scoot with your feet off the ground.
When you start to fall to a direction, turn the bars a LITTLE bit to that direction.
THAT'S IT! =D

@JimexJimex I hope you're right! I just bought a folding bike from Citizen Bike. I'm 22 and I don't know how to ride (yet). Hoping I can get there.
