FINALLY!!!! someone who gets these commercials (refers to comeseptember61)! lots of ppl think that these commercials r advertising the pcs and not the macs, and there NOT! wut these commercials r saying that why would the pc always desperately say to buy a pc and not a mac. if pc is so great and better than a mac, why would he say to not buy a mac. it would be stupid and pointless to advertise against something thats worse than their own product.

the guy who plays the pc (john hodgkins, a mac user) always ends up much more charming than the mac hipster. i'm not so into these ads (but i'm a devout mac user.)

No dude, you definitely don't get it. All the mac/pc ads make the pc guy look desperate and grasping, while making the mac guy look calm with all his wits about him. Of course they're advertising the pc, but always in a way that makes you think about all of it's negatives. My god - who on earth would ever buy a pc after seeing these brilliant marketing tools?
