@fragglerock689 drivings more dangerous than walking and riding a motercycle is more dangerous than driving and in my opinion more dangerous than skate boarding...i knew people who died in motercycle crashes and no one i have ever met has died skateing (not saying no one has ) so what does the degree of danger have to do with anything people who skate skate by choice and if they want to risk getting hurt then why should people on a 500 pound bike be allowed to be on the road and not skaters?

@fraggloerock689 You know what it is dangerous to skateboard. and its just as dangerous to ride a bicycle. its more dangerous to ride a motorcycle than to drive a car, so should we ban motorcycles? i mean, we know its more dangerous, thats why we wear more gear. not denying it, just wondering why it matters that its slightly more dangerous.

@cojeep636 People who skateboard can argue who is right and who is wrong all day long. So, I totally understand what you're saying. But, the fact is, and it's proven fact, that skateboarding is dangerous. Far more dangerous than riding bicycles. Just because some people wear leathers doesn't mean it's not dangerous. Protective gear that's worn doesn't lessen any existance of danger. It only reassures that the person knows how dangerous it is.....so he wears leather for protection.

@fragglerock689 who says? by looking at the guys standing around, most of them were probably wearing leathers, additional knee pads, gloves, and a full face helmet. most bikers wear spandex shorts, short sleeves, and a helmet for nothing more than impact on the top.
