@scousesusan It is a beautiful song. I only started listening to Renaissance this year - although I've known of Northern Lights since the 70s! Annie has a truly gorgeous voice and range.

This song is simply fabulous. We just love Annie's voice and the boy playing. Our kids called it the Sad Song and they still love it as adults.
Betty Thatcher I believe wrote this in the aftermath of the Mousehole lifeboat disaster.

OMG...I've just been beamed back to 1975......listening to Renaissance in the shelter as a freedom fighter in East Beirut in between missions then, while bombs were pouring outside ... seems like a dream...tho it was cruel reality, so many of my buddies passed..but we remain..strong as our Cedars... Cheers.

Love this song. had this album when it first was released. Wore it out. Just bought the CD. It's as good as I remembered. They don't make music like this anymore. Annie has the best voice in rock, could listen to her all day
