Hours before thousands took part in a major march for immigration reform in San Francisco , the leaders of some of Oakland's most prominent African-American congregations gathered at the Federal Building and passionately proclaimed their support for humane immigration reform.
The East Bay Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice, the Black Alliance for a Just Immigration and the Interfaith Communities United of East Bay Housing Organizations co-sponsored the event.

@borderraven - this is not necessarily a BAD thing. I am putting this EVERYONE not for the illegal immigrants - but for the EMPLOYERS To see.. they might just fire them being that now they can be held accountable.. I emailed ALL the associations that FUND the pro-amnesty rallies. If these people are able to "report" & "sue" these employers - certainly makes it NOT a good idea to hire them. GET THE WORD out to these Employers that THEY are gonna pay!!! Purdue is getting sued even as we speak..

@NeedAJobUSA Here's what I hear from the proponents of immigration reform, "I want you paint your home blue, I want you to replace all of the
furniture, get a Chihuahua, play Mexican music, and speak only Spanish,
so I will feel more comfortable when I come to stay." Does that sound like sensible immigration reform? I don't want to reform our country to their standards. If they want a country formed to their standards they will have to have a civil war against their government.

Obama's plan is for undocumented to go to the back of the line. Where is the back of the line? How many undocumented immigrants will come out of the shadows and go to the back of the line? Zero How many more undocumented immigrants will come into the USA? Be honest, those you prefer to call "immigrants" or "undocumented immigrants" or "hard working and honest Hispanic people," are in fact aliens present in the USA without permission, i.e. "illegal aliens."

All workers must have basic human rights on the job, regardless of race or immigration status. As Servant B.K Woodson says in the clip above, "We who work for a living simply want to be able live off of our work, regardless of race or ethnicity."
For all workers - immigrant and non-immigrant - to have good jobs with dignity and respect, we urgently need a just and compassionate immigration reform. For more information, visit our website.
