QJ 6811 between Xiagongchang and Dadongzhang... (HD)

Shandong province is usually shrouded in a thick haze, limiting visibility considerably, but not so on November 17 this year! This kind of clear weather is really very unusual there, and so I'm well aware of the fact that I was very lucky to be able to be there at that time! And not only the weather was cooperating, the Yanzhou Coal Mining Company (YanKuang Group Co. Ltd.) also helped to make this day very successful, by putting both of their QJs into active service! One of them, QJ 6811, is seen here hauling a long empty powerstation train from Xiagongchang to Dadongzhang. The train must have weighed almost 1000 tons, and the grade is against the QJ, but its not even working very hard... Another evidence that QJs are very powerful beasts!
