Not sure why this wasn't uploaded yet, since it's been on a flash drive for about a week.

Well, here's the end of the run. One of these days I need to go back and take down the Liger Queen, but this is the conclusive end as far as I'm concerned. Inb4 youforgotAsch1&2.

Anyway, there's been more than enough rage/hate directed at Nebilim. Considering 99.9% of the losses were by Indignation, which means the game freezes and I gotta restart the system over and over and mash through the scene over and over. "My suppose this is the glyph for the Planetary Arte." Pretty sure that's incorrect grammar Tear.

As for Nebilim, her pattern is pretty set in stone. She always starts off with Mystic Cage which can most of the time be canceled with Overlimit. It's good to cancel it because its a Mystic Arte that causes knockdown, and being knocked down can lead to getting caught in a spell/rain of arrows/Surge Breaker, all of which are ridiculously strong and will take off whatever sliver of life you have left.

Canceling Mystic Cage means she'll do Big Bang within a minute or so, which puts you at critical HP, so then ya gotta stay away from Nebilim or get Star Stroke'd for the 20th time. She never does physical artes unless you are standing by her when the Abyss A.I. resets. Energy Blast and Turbulence are still the best offense, and this was actually the first time spell delay came to mind during this run, though it didn't have a significant use for this fight.

Then...*facepLam*....Indignation. Between 600k and 570k she casts Indignation, though she loves to troll with actually casting it to begin with and can go down to 500k before deciding to use it. Its unavoidable on the ground since it locks you in place, so the only way to dodge it is with a double jump. Which SOUNDS easy but the time frame is straight up impossible. It's the type of time frame that just can't be done twice in a row. The other day I fired up this file to see if it was the overlimit or the jump that saved me, and ended up getting killed replicating the SAME MOTION AND SETUP as I did here. The range of it is ridonkulous, and Overlimit actually doesn't help, since it still does over 9,999 damage. And for some reason, it missed me here but my controller still rumbled like the game froze, which kept going for about a good minute before it stopped wtf.

Before this take, I actually got lucky with AD Skills and Indignation got VOIDED, but I ended up taking a Fragmented End to the face. Not fly at all. And yes I thought about setting up a save to have whatever AD Skill that was to happen, but that means I would have to save before 2 spells since I still had to get through Big Bang. Not even sure if that would've worked and it sounds (_) already so no thanks.

I could rant for centuries on Indignation but that's not all she has. In this take I did the dumbest thing by using Mystic Cage with her near me right after Indignation. Since Jade has so much lag after it I was wide open to get Fragmented End'd or Rending Saber'd, Mystic Artes she only triggers in melee range. Fortunately she didn't use them, though I totally forgot about Fortune's Ark, which doesn't kill (thank goodness). Oh and Innocent Shine somewhere near the beginning *shrug*

As for miscellaneous stuff, it's best to magic guard through Time Stop since she'll only cast spells. One time I jumped over her during a Time Stop and she triggered Rending Saber *controller^wall*. All of her spells are easy enough to dodge. Meteor Storm works the same way as Judgment, as in you can dodge it completely if you hug the wall in the exact direction in which it was cast. Also for some reason the second Big Bang broke Jade's Glory. My CD must be breaking down at...the atomic level or something, since I'm fairly confident Glory works against Big Bang if it's not magic guarded (see: Arietta). Not sure if its a glitch or what but that's when I threw up my hands, been playing this game for too many years.

Besides all of that nonsense, the fight itself isn't really hard. Its really just one big hump to get over and staying the FAWK AWAY from the lady. But it's over. And yes that ending, though obvious, was a fully necessary way to end this. Karma is a temptress.

Thanks for watching and for the support. Ya know I could've just thrown in the Japanese version of the game and breezed through this but... didn't. Stay tuned for the great Ligah Queen in about a year, 8 months and 20 days.

  • Verc, may i ask??? Hmm what makes your jade strong? Actually I've been wondering since your run at Ex-boss replica God-General.. I tried it with my jade lvl 200 and C.Core Tutti but I do about 4000 damage and aroung 28000 for mystic cage. Beside do you have a link to download this theme??? Thx anyway

  • @Espeon21 Herbs. Lots and lots of herbs.

  • That was a great run. Go get a shower and massage. You've earned it.

  • @DreamSword Thanks for the support. *buys a ticket to a spa/psychologist*

  • Seems the classic Verc descriptions have returned. I...can only feel your pain smh. Outside of that impressive work and tactical strategy.

  • Nebilim sure is poor in accurasy when using meteor storm...

  • How do you do their second overlimit?

  • @Clear1

This is the thing you can do to do w/ Flame Burst + FOF Flare Tornado combo for some consistent damage, not sure if your Jade is nimble enough, but if he is, he can dodge Fragmented End like a boss by running diagonally away from her.

  • Good Job, there is not much that Jade can do other than like this or use spell cancel combos, but that will mean further grinding for Attack, plus dealing with shit like Fragmented End. I also saw some combos that can be done like juggling with Flare Tornado and Flame Burst, but very timing based.

Also, running against the invisible wall will insure that you will NEVER get hit during Time Stop given if you are far enough away, as seen in my run:

  • @ChaoslordZeke "Scarlet-haired Devil" from the Tales of Hearts arrange album.

  • Was so hoping for that Indignation ending, and you delivered.. awesome.

  • I started laughing at your description a t"And for some reason, it missed me here but my controller still rumbled like the game froze, which kept going for about a good minute before it stopped wtf.." for no reason and i kept on laughing till the end. XD

Sorry about that but that description is probably what happens when you have played a game so many times that some thing doesn't make sense anymore or never had to begin with. But at least u beat this bitch who likes to spam spells TOO MUCH <_<

  • isn't this a pc game?
