I can't get this to work with the latest version of gens or gens +, does it need an older version?

I finally got it working a few days ago. Definitely needs the old version. One other question though, do you get this bug where if you change the invincibility music, it changes the 1-up music to the Continue music then causes the sound effects to go mute? I tried changing the 1-up music and that didn't fix the problem.

Yeah, I've had that problem. That's why I leave the invincibility music alone.
