I am sorry if you got the wrong idea from my request. I am one step from leaving New York Shitty and moving to Split/Solta/Pula and wanted to know from your experience how the transition was. I have been going every summer to visit relatives in Istra i Dalmacia, so I speak the language fluently, I read and write as well. I was just wondering if it was difficult at first Lets keep in touch. Thanks

We have a nice home in between gornje selo i stomorska. As much as i love stom is amazing and all the mal orska , dont tell my faily, but I have always had a secret passion for maslinica. The land is remarkable and the small islands off maslinica are breathtaking. my parents are on the verge of retiring after working like slaves in new york shitty. My father is from Istra, small watherfront town called Rakalj I have honestly been thinking of moving there for god and would love some advice.

SweetAnomIS, are you from Croatia or just visiting? I'm curious because solta is gaining popularity but tourists generally Visit the neighbor island of VIS. My cousin married a fisherman and moved to Vis, another island off Split with spectacular beaches, restaurants, etc. Thanks for the reply. Keep in touch. Johny
