It was on a cold fall day we had an all school event from k-12 we took our shop made Trebuchet to the baseball field in Crow, Oregon's Applegate Elementary School. Ron Osibov, Crow High School Principal looked on as our band of rowdy's showed the School District a day they shall never forget. A day we placed our mark. Each class submitted three pumpkins and the average throw was appox. 85 yards with a trajectory height of about 60 feet. My thanks to my boys who made it possible and for their enthusiasm that I shall never ever forget. And yes, it was us who had one misfire of the Trebuchet and it left a rather large dent in the old School District Maintenance Truck. It was our day, our time and heck we even made the newspaper and nightly news. So here's to you guys! Mr. D
