ok,green day never claimed they played punk,they just claimed they played..green day songs.They do say theyre living with punk mentality,which is doing things their own way,and nobody can take that away from them,no mater what you say.
anyway..Great song!but that cover wasnt that good..prefer the good old Clash version =]

A lot of negative responses on this video. I'm interested in why so many of you don't like it. Is it just because it's just not a good cover of the Clash? (I was never into them so I wouldn't really know how good it is or isn't, I just filmed the thing :). Also, like batsarecool says on here: Jesse and Billie Joe are actually good friends. That's why Billie came to Jesse's show in 2003 and offered to join him on stage. It's also a little strange that B.J. changed his entire look after this. hmm
