The month of May brought 3 Gila Monster sightings to my home in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona -- one of them a returning lizard from last year!

  • thanks!

  • i love her black forearms and feet. so cool looking!... viva's a star. hope you see her for years to come!

  • me too!

  • Excellent footage. Thanks for posting. Thats it im moving out west ..... So jealous. We got boring animals here in Wisconsin ..... Squirrels, raccoons, opossum and tons of birds .... Id trade ya anyday plus im just south of Milwaukee, so pretty much everything around here is developed. Rarely see anything cool around the condo complex ... maybe a bat here and there.

  • thx!

  • Gila monsters are crepuscular and not nocturnal. Only juvenilles come out at night when they are safer. Full grown adults are rarely seen at noght. : )
