It's possible to appeal to BOTH audiences ya know. Nintendo doesn't have to choose between the hardcore and the casual.

Look at the PS2. It appealed to both.

@therealhard8times your right about one thing, nintendo is saying that they are going to try to appeal to the hardcore but you definitely know that the wii u or whatever they name it is going to have "family friendly" games. The difference with the new system will be its power. barley any developer made games for wii because it had the power of a gamecube. now it will have the power so multiplatform game can be on it. the chioce in system will be whatever exclusives you like best.

Well according to Wiki, Wii U is gonna have Darksiders II, Arkham City, Assassin's Creed (Untitled), Battlefield (Untitled), and a Ghost Recon. Seems like Wii U might be a success, but the controllers look extremely expensive.

I have a Wii but its in basement where my sister and niece use it the most. So I'm not even remotely interested in the Wii U. But I'm going to get a 720 and PS4 for sure.
