As I love cycling I find it really annoying that many cars don't keep the distance. This is why I thought about a solution. Once it is proper produced I am convinced it could work very well. See for yourself...

  • good against cyclists who overtake too close as well.

  • @carlitox472 yeah true, it needs respect on both sides.

  • Why did you use a child as a test case?!

  • @vonNaaat As I think they struggle the most as they are less safe than adults on London's road.

  • Very creative. Why not have a revolving sprinkler mounted on a helmet spraying everyone nearby with urine?

  • Thanks for the comment, not sure about the urine though...lol

  • @john100848 Not really. They do more harm than good.

  • If this was a man offering a random child presents to help him try out his "invention" there would be public outrage!

  • I think a helmet may have been a safer solution for that kid :)

  • It's not good because with that thing you cannot properly filter in traffic jams

  • @carlitox472 I think I find that more annoying than motorists... at least you expect it from cars.

  • get ink on the wrong guy in the wrong car then your gone hahah

  • It may be illegal - Criminal damage. Two wrongs do not make a right.

  • I had a similar concept last winter when I was walking to and from work on the sides of the roads. Where I live they only plow the roads and nothing else. Not even the shoulders and sidewalks. So what I did was I held out my arm holding on to my 18" Maglite. Dinged a few cars on the first day. Then for some reason they all started going way around me on the second day. Unfortunately that's what it took for people to give me room to walk.

  • Most motorists are 'uneducated' when it comes to ''other'' road users.

    Cycle lanes DO help.

As it indicates to the common uneducated motorist WHERE to stay on the road.

NOT a l l motorists are aggresive towards cyclists.

What with price increases of petrol, cyclisting and cyclists will become more common.

Educate motorists to look for 'OTHER' road users besides modes of transport like their own.
