To say that this oversize load Grove 80D was troublesome is slightly an understatement. I was first called for an ASAP survey for this load after it had been shut down for running without a permit after hitting two bridges in Hartford CT.
The load measure 14' 3" and after submitting the survey and getting the permit back I was asked to get him to the CT/NY line ahead of a bad storm coming in. I got him to the state line safely... but the rest of the trip didn't quite go as planned.....
