Amen, both in reality and rhetorically. The best way to give a tune energy is to check and see if the tune is from 1995 and if the volume is all the way up.

I always played part 2 purely for that reason, gave a bit of warning that it was gonna drop.

I find it funny there are people here saying how Ray Keith should have made the tune. The fact is Ray Keith did make it, you have no control over him. And if you know so much about track arrangement, then where is your anthem? Obviously you don't really know what you're talking about.
Personally, I think the track has aged, but it has a lot of memories and highlights a great era in DnB. This was HEAVY in a club and the crowd loved it. It's a true classic, a sought-after record too.

@studentdebts If you really didn't care what other people's opinions on here were you wouldn't post comments intended to get them to change their opinion to yours. The fact that you have your own opinion is perfectly, but saying you don't care about anyone else's and that it doesn't matter not only shows that you are egotistical, but also a hypocrite because you are doing the same thing you claim tubemech was doing. It would be best to come back once you have found your brain's logic center.

@martynwebster yes. best comment on dnb i ever read. its an art and ray keith has it nailed. new kids learn from the master. Ray Keith.
It is okay, the bass is brilliant still but it could have had it throughout the whole tune and speed the drums up in the background. The bassline stops halfway, should have continued with a variant version after. The only good part is the Bassline then after that I would cut it.

Its perfect as it is!
Have you ever seen this played in a club?
The way it rolls on and on works so well until the huge amen comes straight out of nowhere!
As for speeding it up, Ray has never been one to write tunes fast.
Cranking up the bpm is a lazy/easy way to give a tune energy, and not always needed

my favourite version has a little rewind before the drop - anyone know what remix that is?
