This video is a perfect historical example of a normal day on a London bus in the early 1980's: Everyone spontaneously bursting out in song. Bus conductors who are part-time saxophonists. Xlophones in breif cases in case of inpromptu jams with Joe public.

Today in London, everyone is miserable and don't talk to each other; they avoid each others glances on the bus or tube.

London needs to cheer up! Come one Boris! Do something!

I live in Liverpool and I visited London in 1979 and people did talk to each other, I heard cockneys everywhere.

I have visited London in 2012, 33 years later and now everyone ignores each other, and it took 3 days before I heard a cockney accent....... it's sad really.
