@Iichyaa It all seems so simple to you doesn't it ? That's because you don't understand yet that everybody isn't you. You obviously have yet to sink to the depths of depression, hopelessness and despair this poor girl suffered. Your answers are naive and childish, totally lacking in empathy and compassion, plastic and superficial. You have no depth and your life will reflect that.

She could have, like typed, told her parents/mother what was truly happening, how she was feeling, if she didn't. Ask her mom if they could get that thing where you can't be a few feet from someone. New high school. Be home-schooled, if possible (or internet schooled, for that matter), police, possibly, not go on the internet, ignore calls and texts by people who aren't her good friends. etc.

@riply53 She chose life over death. That, to me, is an easy way out of life. I'm not saying what happened was perfectly OK because those kids went way over the top when it came to harassing her but also, did she look at her phone and facebook? If so, did she ever to have a phone number change(can you block numbers?) or just not go on facebook/internet? Also, her mother, in my opinion, could have always pulled her out of that high school and sent her to another one.

@w0005097 Killing herself is what she brought to herself in the end, from other things within her life. There's a reason why it's suicide, not murder. I say she chose the easy way out because life is an uphill battle, death is not, especially for people who are taunted, she gave in, possibly because of her personality which yes, I do find sad.

@riply53 I know that she told her school officials and there's a difference from just complaining to full out telling your parents (more so) / friends what is happening and how you feel and that you're scared as shit to go to school. Also, what about the police? It may not be something huge but going to the police is another thing you might want to take a step.

@riply53 Phoebe wasn't an aggressive person. She didnt know how to fight back. She knew there was no place no hide. She knew her situation was hopeless and that noone was
going to protect her from these monsters. Ppl that really do go thru with suicide do it because they see NO light at the end of the tunnel.
So don't insult our intelligence by saying "she chose the easy way out."
I think it is horrable that someone would do that just happy to know 3 of the people resbonsable face life in prison

The day after Phoebe died, Ashley Longe, referred to Phoebe with this message on her Facebook page: "She brought it on herself." What kind of human being would taunt Phoebe even after she was dead ? Answer : A MONSTER

@riply53 That's horrible, I'll agree, however, it is partly true. There are many steps, apart from telling school officials what was happening. Telling her parents, Telling her friends, asking her friends and parents for help, move to another school, those kids, the one's bullying her are somewhat retarded. But from what I've gotten, she did tell school officials but not really much after that. She didn't have to kill herself, she chose the easy way out.
