  • 25,000, thats awesome. Mine's got 60,000. And yes, theyre great with turns and bends and such, lotta fun

  • My NA '89 has 25,000 miles on it. I did 120 last week and it behaved like it was brand new. Not really a speed demon by any means in a straight line. But I also enjoy on ramps at about 70mph. That's where the fun is in these cars.

  • Holy shit that spooled up rather fast!!

  • Man that sounds nice

  • @dcin1 who keeps a stock clutch in a car that old and expects to race it? the clutch was weak to start, none the less with age!

  • @dcin1 i beg to differ, as long as you dont straight up dump it over 4k youll be fine. i always dumped in 2500 or so just to get it goin

  • @allaboutdatGDA you cant launch porsches the clutch is not made for it will shatter

  • @dcin1 what?

  • Quick car there, got a 88 porsche 924S myself.

  • I have a '83 non turbo in my garage in need of a lot of body/interior/electrical work. It does run (well, it's been in the garage for a fews years now...I think she'll still crank anyway). Might repair it to replace my AE86 Corolla.

  • @hamronD73 Well, I'll be civil here, 944 turbo owner myself. The range of engines developed for the 944 had an Audi hand in them. If you look at the majority of the parts, turbocharger for example is basically the same as the one used on the Audi Quattro. The transmission is an Audi G something, I forget exactly. If you take them apart, like I have, you'll see a lot of 4 rings on parts, lol. I would say it's about 50% Audi, 50% Porsche.
