Making beds for our vegis to grow up in. We raise over 50 different varities of vegetable and fruits and most of them are grown in a bed like this one shown in the video.

  • Awesome. I figured you used the rainflow equipment, wasn't sure. Nice beds. Wonder how it would work in heavy clay? Keep up and good luck.

    Hey guys, hope all is well in the "Lone Star", it does pretty well in heavy ground as long as it is dry, however when you say heavy and dry it usually means lumpy too. As in most things you lose seed or root to soil contact, the water either puddles in pockets or runs away through the cracks. This year my father in law used our land pride reverse tine rototiller on some of those spots before he made the beds and that really seemed to help.

  • Thanks. I use a Buckeye Equip. bedder. This year I bedded twice, then knocked it down again with the big 7 ft. tiller, took off the outer disks, and rebedded again. The dirt was wet all spring. Had problems with channels in the center of the bed. Next year.
