Interesting that kankkunen never a Audi Group B driver (drove the t16) owns a s1, i think he made a good choice buying the Audi.

Kankkunen kicks serious booty! He is my favourite driver of the 20th century. Been a die hard fan of his since 1985.

Rohrl is one of the finest rally drivers that ever existed. He had the talent and speed to win every single rally but sadly did not have the desire. A real shame because he would have been more than a 2 time world champ, thats for sure.

avearge speed of rally 1000 lakes is higher than pikes peak and that makes it fastest road rally in the world and also röhrl retired after pikes peak but mostly what makes him special driver is that he didn't crash very often and he is very fast circuit racer

I think it wasnt fear cause if you drive the Pikes Peak Rally with a record time after that you should fear nothing more

it was not about intrests he drove only rallies where he though he might win, but i think he scared finland or something

Hmm i didn't knwo why but after his second world title Röhrl had not driven all rallies of the season - he said he's not interested in winning the third world title so he drives only the interesting rallies for him.

Rohl never came to Rally 1000 lakes so that takes respect down a lot.

I wouldn't say Walter Röhrl is the fastest but his clear driving with i think only two or three crashes in his whole career makes him for me to the best of all time.
