That is a FAA and US Coast Guard Loran and Radar beacon station, I've worked on it

the object at the beginning, is the Hartford VORTAC. (identifies as HFD on 114.9Mhz AM (Aircraft band). (VOR), VHF Omnidirectional Range (TAC) Tactical Air Control, was used long before GPS, for Aircraft navigation. As far as the things grabbing your leg, If the holes are open, there might be wild animals crawling in for shelter. The manhole in the video, was part of the sewage system, I followed it down to the leech field way out to the west, near the swamp. KKK? Not likely.. Kid Graffiti.

you can go down there it was currently flooded at that time, but out later research into nike missile sites showed that there were probably nike missiles still down there, disarmed of their nuclear components of course.

Ummm.... I have been riding dirt bikes around that place and the one in Manchester for twenty years. Its no secret.... there is nothing there and that hole you are looking in is the old drainage/sewer. Unfortantly Vandals, and graffity have pretty much ruined the place. The one pump house left in Manchester somebody has spray painted "KBLOCK" and all kinds of other junk all over it.
